Roberta M. Knapp

A funeral service celebrating the life of Roberta M. Knapp, 94, of Newark, will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 11:00 at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, on Monday, January 22nd from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Roberta was born in Glenjean, WV on December 9, 1929 to the late Robert H. and Icie (Whitt) Fuller. She passed away at her residence on January 15, 2024. Prior to retirement, Roberta was an office manager at Perk Ad for many years. She enjoyed crafting, painting, gardening, home improvements and especially loved decorating for Christmas. Roberta was a devoted homemaker to her family and she will be missed by everyone that knew her. Survivors include her children, Sharon A. (John) Hankins and Roger W. Knapp; brothers, John (Doris) Fuller and Dale (Patsy) Fuller; sisters, Barbara Green, Arlene (Jim) Shrewsbury and Thressia Fuller; grandchildren, Brian (Andrea) Matthews, Kevin Matthews and Teresa (Jonathon) Phillips; great grandchildren, Harper Matthews, Jude Matthews, Eli Matthews, Elizabeth Phillips and Benjamin Phillips; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Knapp; granddaughter, Elizabeth Matthews; and many brothers and sisters. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Roberta to Hospice of Central Ohio. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
