Rodger Davis Harlow

August 21, 1933 — February 4, 2021

Private Family Funeral services, celebrating the life of Rodger Davis Harlow, 87, of Millersport, will be held with Pastor Steve Bush as celebrant. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Millersport Cemetery. Public Memorial Services will follow at a later date.

Rodger passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Pickering House Hospice. He was born in Millersport on Aug 21, 1933, the son of the late Linn Rodgers and Edith B. (Davis) Harlow. He was a graduate of Millersport H.S. and Miami University. He served honorably as a pilot in the US Navy. He enjoyed a long career as contracts and pricing manager with Rockwell International in Columbus and California prior to his retirement.

He was a member of the Millersport Post of the American Legion; and Millersport Covenant Church. He enjoyed watching Columbus Blue Jackets and Ohio State Buckeye sporting events. He was an avid golfer, and enjoyed fishing & boating on Buckeye Lake.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Lovella (Dorn) whom he married on September 4, 1954; his children daughters Debbie (Larry) Keller and Suzi Nye; son Steve (Nancy) Harlow; grandchildren Stacey (Nate) Clements, Jenna (Travis) Gorham, Kalen (Kyle) Maite, Andrea (Mike) Rogowski, Austin (Kristen) Nye, Brent (Mandy) Harlow, Brandon (Meghan) Harlow and Brian (Jessica) Harlow and 8 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Margaret Lanier and Josephine Harlow as well as two siblings in their infancy.

The family would like to thank personal caregiver Wanda Wells as well as the caregivers at Pickering House FairHoPe hospice for their loving care of Rodger.
