Roger Bayles

A memorial service, celebrating the life of Roger H. Bayles, Sr., 77, of Hebron, will be held on Friday, July 11, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, with Pastor Tim Stout as celebrant.Roger died peacefully at his home on Monday, July 7, 2014 with his loving family at his side. He was born January 31, 1937 in Parkersburg, West Virginia, the son of the late Archie H. and Virginia R. (McCale) Bayles. He retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas. He was a great all-around musician and was dearly loved by all of his musician friends.He is survived by his wife, Susie; son, Roger, Jr. (Trish) of Florida; daughter, Tonja (Mike) Troyer; step-daughter, Valerie Fetherolf; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Judy (Jay) Denton, Loretta (Donnard) Myers and Frances (Don) Hammond; one brother, Herb (Carolyn) Bayles; step-sister Bonnie (Pat) Dyer; many nieces, nephews and friends.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Belinda Gayle Ehret; his brother, Raymond; andhis step-brother, Dickie.The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of the Memorial Services at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.The family prefers that memorials be directed to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio, P.O.
