A funeral service celebrating the life of Roger Lee Millward, age 60, of Heath, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Barnes Cemetery where military honors will be observed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.Roger was born April 8, 1955 in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late Alvin Robert and Jennie Mary (Skrajnar) Millward. He passed away on Monday, August 24, 2015 at Licking Memorial Hospital.Roger was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He worked in maintenance at Harry & David and the Knoll Group. Roger was a member of the VFW in Buckeye Lake and enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. His grandson was his pride and joy.He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Mary E. (Ridenbaugh) Millward, whom he married June 30, 1990; daughters, Ann (Tim) Fogel of Dublin and Amber (Dan) Carrier of Heath; grandson, Kaden Matthew Fogel; five sisters, Sandra (Roger) Whaley of Cambridge, Alice Hunt of Pleasant City, Linda (Cazzie) Cazzill of Byesville, Mary (Rick) Sills of Byesville and Bonnie Rotruck of Tampa Bay, Florida; four brothers, Robert (Anna) Millward of Pleasant City, George (Janet) Millward of Wooster, Pete (Katie) Millward of Dresden and Richard (Karen) Millward of Senecaville; many nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Cindy Ridenbaugh of Thornville; and brother-in-law, Brett Ridenbaugh of Thornville.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, William Lee Millward; and a grandson, Aaron Robert Fogel.Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, August 28, at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark.Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
