Rolita Ann Skeens

Rolita Ann Ro Skeens, age 62, of Newark, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Mrs. Skeens was born March 10, 1952 in Brea, California to the late Rollie and Rita (Phillips) White. Mrs. Skeens received a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University-Fullerton and retired from Boeing in 1997 where she had been a supervisor. Mrs. Skeens loved to watch television, especially Law and Order, and enjoyed watching birds and squirrels out her front window. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Narya and Denise Skeens of Frazeysburg; grandsons, Matthew and Brandon Skeens; two great-grandchildren; boyfriend, Mike McKinney; sister, Lavina Thayer of California; and brother, Kevin White of California. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David M. Skeens, in 1995; and by a brother, Donald White. There will be no calling hours or service observed.
