Ronald Dale Khune

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Ronald Dale Khune, age 72, of Loudonville, will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor John Harris officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, one hour prior to the funeral service from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.Ronald was born in Zanesville, Ohio on June 26, 1942 to the late Jasper and Mary (Wickham) Khune. He passed away at OhioHealth MedCentral Hospital in Mansfield.Prior to retirement, he was a maintenance engineer with Resinoid Engineering Corporation. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge Post #349 in Pace, Florida and the American Legion Post # 257 in Loudonville. He was an avid camper and especially enjoyed staying at the Wally World Resort in Loudonville. He also enjoyed motorcycling and was associated with many motorcycle clubs.Survivors include his children, Timothy (Christie) Khune, Rhonda (Fianc, John Slaughter) Stokes, Thomas Khune, Dee Weaver, Laura Shaughnessy and Destry (Loretta) Tracy; grandchildren, Brandon (Ashley) Stokes, Matthew (Andrea) Stokes, Courtney Stokes, Ronald Khune, Richard Khune, Britny Khune and Wendy Khune; brother, Larry (Shirley) Khune; ex-wife, Mary Khune, whom he remained good friends; nine great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step-mother, Edna Khune; daughter, Tammy Khune; and sister, Delores (Orville) Spicer.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 179 Granville Street, Newark, is honored to care for the Khune family.
