Ronald L. Young

Ronald L. Young, age 77, of Newark, passed away on July 3, 2017 at the Heath Nursing Care Center. Ron was born January 16, 1940 in Newark, Ohio to the late Robert and Peggy Iva (Ashman) Young. Ron had formerly been a cab driver for Yellow Cab and had also worked at the Route 37 Truckstop. He operated Youngs Trash Removal Service in Buckeye Lake for many years. Ron loved to fish and camp and enjoyed watching TV, especially wrestling and Westerns, and loved chocolate milkshakes and cheeseburgers. He is survived by three children, Roxanne M. Young and Monica Meckling, all of Newark, and Ronald L. Young of Byesville; two grandchildren, Chloe and Drake Steinhausser; brothers, Dave Young and Tom Young; and sisters, Janice Sherman and Barb Jones; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Timothy B. Steinhausser. A graveside inurnment service will be held at a later date at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
