Ronald E. Overton “Ronnie” 47, of Pataskala, died suddenly on December 17, 2024. He was born May 13, 1977, in Morgantown W.V., the son of Linda and Harold Overton and Ronald “Skye” Jr. and Pam Moreland, who survive. Ronnie graduated from Trevor G. Browne H.S. in Phoenix, AZ.; and the Columbus State Community College in May of 2019 with a degree in Automotive Technology.

He worked in security and law enforcement for over 20 years, and recently had worked for Carvana in Heath until he suffered serious injury.

Ronnie enjoyed collecting and selling comic books. He loved dressing up as some of his favorite characters and attending Comicon with his daughters. He loved assembling model cars. Spending time with family and friends, along with trying to help them in all ways. He enjoyed movie nights with his family and date nights with his wife Sara. He enjoyed antiquing, along with traveling and exploring new places.

Ronnie met his wife Sara in high school and have been together since 1996 and were married in Glendale AZ on April 27, 2002.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Sara, his daughters Tyler, Jasmyn and Ashley; his grandchildren Jaiden, Arizona and Lilliana; his nieces Lili, Alexandria and his nephew Eli; his brother Jon (Destiny) Overton, along with his in-laws Ken and Joyce Brockman.

The family will hold a celebration of life later.
