Rosa Lee Ward Clark, 83, of Thornville, Passed away on April 26, 2018, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born February 24, 1935, in Columbus, the daughter of the late John T. and Marjorie (Parry) Ward. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard F. Clark, on February 27, 2014. Rosa was the first female executive at Lancaster Glass, working her way up from clerk/typist to Credit Manager, retiring from the Lancaster Colony after many years of service. She was a long- time advisor for the Junior Achievement program in Lancaster, serving as mentor to many young aspiring business leaders. An active member of the community, she served the Buckeye Lake Historical Society and the Buckeye Lake Yacht Club, where she and Howard established the junior sailing scholarship program. She is survived by her loving family: god-daughters Kathy McNeely-Johnson (Richard) and Karen McNeely-Sand (Matt); along with her brothers Jim (Barbara) Ward and John T. (Maxine) Ward, and her sister Angie (Brad) Bodamer; along with her god-grandson David (Kristin Berry) Johnson and nieces and nephews: Chad Ward, Craig George, Ben Bodamer, Stacey Beck and Lindsey Hockman. Friends may call on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at the Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor David Bugh as celebrant. Private family burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Lancaster.
