Rose Boggess

August 1, 1916 — April 10, 2012

Rose (Bright) Boggess, 95, of Etna, formerly of Millersport, went home to be with her Lord on April 10, 2012 at her home. She was born on August 2, 1916 in Logan, Ohio to the late David and Minnie (Swick) Bright. She was a 1934 graduate of Bexley High School and retired from Rockwell. She was a member of the Millersport United Methodist Church.She is survived by her loving family: son, John (Eileen) Boggess, of Granville; daughter-in-law, Pat Boggess, of Etna; grandsons, Scott (Mary Alta) Boggess, of Lancaster, John Jr. (Lisa) Boggess, of Galena, and Jeff Daugherty, of Granville; 5 great-grandchildren; close friend, Carl Clouse, and many nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jim; 3 sisters and 3 brothers.A funeral service, celebrating Roses life will be held at Noon on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service with Rev. Cheryl Issac officiating.
