Rose Marie Weimer

A funeral service celebrating the life of Rose Marie Weimer, age 87, of Heath, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 13, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Ross officiating. Burial will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Monday, February 12, at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark.Rose was born April 5, 1930 in Buena Vista, Ohio to the late William and Alma (Bostick) Turner. She passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio).Rose was a graduate of Newark High School. She resided in North Fort Myers, Florida for 30 years and had been District Manager for Handy Foods in Gulf Coast, Florida. She was also active with the Amvets in Fort Myers. Locally, Rose attended the Rocky Fork Church of God. She enjoyed plastic canvas needlework, ceramics and making dreamcatchers. She loved her faithful companion, Pebbles.She is survived by five children, Bill (Anna) Davis of Labelle, Florida, Sharon (Jack) Scanlon of Newark, Roland Davis of Newark, Dana (Sue) Davis of Mansfield and Todd Davis of North Fort Myers, Florida; 23 grandchildren; many great and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Cummins of New Mexico City Beach, Florida; and nieces, Debbie Kinkade and Tammie Jenkins.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Weimer; a son, Randy Davis; and a granddaughter, Kim Pullins; and special friend, Richard Haeberlin.Memorial contributions may be made to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio, P.O.
