Rosemary "Rose" Yost

A funeral service celebrating the life of Rosemary Rose (Hill) Yost, age 61, of Pleasantville, will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, at Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, 56 South Main Street, Thornville, with Pastor Aaron Bounds officiating. Friends may call from 3-5 p.m. prior to the service and from 7-9 p.m. following the service.Rose was born December 22, 1953 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Raymond and Betty Jane (Lines) Hill. She passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Fairfield Medical Center.Rose worked for Heartland Fairfield Care Center in Pleasantville for 32 years. She enjoyed going to Amish County, yard sales and liked to go fishing. Her family was her life and she loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Rick Yost, whom she married October 31, 1970; three daughters, Christine (Paul) Maynard of Thornville, Tina Yost of Millersport and Karen (Fiance, Danny Stoneburner) of Thurston; a grandson, Bryson; five granddaughters, Megan, Tamika, Breanna, Kyann and Natale; brother, Joe (Holly) Hill; sisters, Doris (Steve) Marcus, Alice (Robert) Greenrod and Connie Butterbaugh; mother-in-law, Lavonna Yost; brother-in-law, Gary (Deanna) Yost; sisters-in-law, Joyce Burnett and Debbie (Chet) Reid; several nieces and nephews; and her special pet, her Yorkie, Patches.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbra White; brother, Charles Hill; nephew, Troy Wilt; father-in-law, Paul R.
