Funeral services, celebrating the life of Rosemary A. Wood, 82, of Hebron, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2018, in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Mark Katrick as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Hebron Cemetery, where she will be buried with her husband and son. Rosemary died Monday, May 21, 2018, in Lancaster, following a brief illness. She was born, June 4, 1935, in Newark, Ohio, to Frank L and Celia E (Casler) Inman. She attended Hebron and Thornville schools. Rosemary worked for many years at the Buckeye Lake Amusement Park, laundromat, snack bar and most recently as the popular hostess at Buckeye Lake McDonalds, where she always had a smile on her face; as she truly enjoyed helping her many regular customers and friends. She enjoyed being a mom, grandma and great-grandma in her spare time. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Vicky and Frank Davis; her grandsons Brian (Carisa) Davis, Bradley (Sarah) Davis; great-grandchildren Sydney, Addison, Elijah and Lydia; her brothers Don (Yaeko) Inman, Jim (Debbie) Inman; sisters Shirley Wehrs, Betty (Floyd) Rutan Jr., Sue (Ron) Geho; brother-in-law Rodney Scherich; along with many nieces and nephews and friends, and her favorite cat: Tommy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Gene Wood, Son Bobby Wood, sister Jean Scherich and baby sister Mary Lou Inman (at birth), along with her brothers and sisters-in-law Bob and Jocelyn Tingley and George (Mac) and Joann Wood, Harold Wehrs. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, from 5 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 285 E. Main St. in Kirkersville. Memorials in her honor may be directed to the foundation for Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio, for their outstanding care of Rosemary, for which the family is truly grateful.
