Ruby Mcpherson

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Ruby Ilene McPherson, 94, Pataskala, will be held at 11:00 a.m on Monday, March 28, 2016, in the Pataskala Church of Christ, 9132 Blacks Rd. Pataskala, with Ministers Roger Massey and Terry Townsend as celebrants. Ruby will be buried next to her husband Joe in the Pennsville Cemetery, (Morgan County) later Monday afternoon. Ruby passed peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2016, following an extended illness. She was born December 17, 1921, in Pennsville, the daughter of the late Fred and Carrie (Moody) McInturf. A lifelong homemaker, she and Joe made their home for many years in Canton, Ohio, where they were active members of the Market St. Church of Christ. A very social person, Ruby enjoyed caring for others, cooking, baking and working around the house. She is survived by her 109 year old sister Mary Niceswanger of Marietta, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joe and her 6 brothers and 4 sisters. The family will receive friends on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be directed to the Pataskala Church of Christ or Vitas Hospice, 655 Metro Place South #770, Dublin, Ohio 43017.
