Ruby R. Dornon

A funeral service celebrating the life of Ruby R. Dornon, age 78, of Campbellsburg, Kentucky, formerly of Newark, Ohio, will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Thornville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Paul H. Hansen officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.Ruby was born in Newark, Ohio on September 15, 1938 to the late Willis and Grace (Miller) Shaub. She passed away on October 24, 2016 at Baptist Health in LaGrange, Kentucky.Ruby worked for Spiegel and the John J. Carroll Company and retired from Elder-Beerman Department Store. She enjoyed flower gardening and traveling with her late husband.Survivors include two brothers, Eugene Shaub and Larry W. (Dorothy) Shaub; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Dornon in 2006.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Ruby to Foundation For Hospice of Central, PO Box 430, Newark, Ohio 43058-0430.Friends may call at the funeral home, 56 S.
