A funeral service celebrating the life of Russell Eugene Bailey, age 47, of Newark, will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 3, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Miller officiating. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark.Russ was born February 2, 1969 in Newark, Ohio. He was employed as a concrete finisher and enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, camping and being outdoors.He is survived by his mother, Sheela K. (Dodson) ODonnell of Newark; father and step-mother, Larry E. and Debbie Bailey, Sr. of Newark; brother, Larry E. (Jeanne) Bailey, Jr. of Newark; sister, Frances Jean (Mike) Morgan of Heath; paternal grandfather, Robert Eugene Bailey of Newark; step-brother, Daniel J. ODonnell, Jr. (Laurie Haas) of Las Vegas, Nevada; step-sister, Tyra L. ODonnell of Newark; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Rocky, Tim, B.J., Danielle and Addy; and his beloved dog, Minnie.He was preceded in death by his step-father, Daniel J.
