Russell Lee Owens, age 69, of Utica, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio). Russell was born April 5, 1950 in Hampton, Virginia to the late George Russell and Evelyn Arrington (Lee) Owens.
Russell was a veteran of the United States Army and was an over the road truck driver for many years. He enjoyed watching TV and fishing.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Sue (Fowler) Stickle Owens; a son, Dwight Madison (Gina) Stickle of Glenford; daughters, Aarika Lynn (Kurtis) Hoover and Ronda Lee Reynolds, all of Utica; grandchildren, Atlanta Kayy Stickle, James Lee Hinkle, Katelynn Breann Evans, Makayla Love Hinkle, William Russell Reynolds, Christopher Jerry Harris, Kyle Cobra Harris and Abigail Stickle; great-granddaughter, Kora Lee Flowers; two step-grandchildren, Jordan Hoover and Jamie Hoover; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Karon (Gary) Chapman, Jack (Patty) Faller and John Williams; nieces and nephews.
A graveside inurnment service will be held at a later date at Cedar Hill Cemetery with military honors provided by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.
