Russell P. Coakley

Russell P. Coakley, age 64, of Thornville passed away on May 1, 2017 at Licking Memorial Hospital. Russ was born April 19, 1953 in Lancaster, Ohio. A bus driver for the Northern Local School District, Russ was loved by his many student passengers. He loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren. Russ enjoyed gambling at the casino. He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany N. Coakley of Glenford; grandchildren, Natilee Young, Tucker Lee Russell Coakley, Rhett Bailey and Gracee Wills; sister, Sherry Myers of Lancaster; and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Coakley; mother, Sylvia (Wiseman) Ellis; and his beloved dog, Bobo. A private funeral service will take place at the Thornville home of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service. Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service in Thornville is honored to care for Russ and his family.
