Ruth A. Chafins

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Ruth A. Chafins, 70, will be held on Wednesday, June 20th at 10:00 a.m. at the Pataskala Church of the Nazarene, with Pastors Gary Reiss and Lonny Aleshire officiating. Burial will follow at Kingwood Memorial Park, Lewis Center.Ruth died on June 16th after a long fought battle with cancer, she is survived by her loving husband, Richard, Jr.. Ruth enjoyed life through cooking, watching OSU Football; but most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends; and helping others.Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, William and Elizabeth Perry; her brothers: Winfred, Charlie, Leroy and Steve; her sisters: Juanita and Pauline. In addition to Richard, Jr., Ruth is survived by her sons: Richard of Etna, William Bill (Lisa) of Thornville, and Don (Donna) of Bellville; her sister, Doris Evans of Kentucky; her grandchildren: Adam, Aaron, Andrew, Alicia, Emily, Kevin (Holly), Donald, Joshua, Summar and Ronny; great-grandchildren: Averie, Emma, Deztiny, Ella, ASani and many nephews and nieces.The family will receive friends on June 19th from 6-9 p.m. at the Kirkersville Home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, located at 285 E.
