Ruth Andrews Levingston

A funeral service celebrating the life of Ruth Andrews Levingston, age 93, of Newark, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 19, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, with Pastor Lloyd Markley officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will take place in Newark Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Levingston was born September 15, 1920 in Newark, Ohio to the late Ed and Margaret (Vossler) Andrews. She passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at her home.A lifetime resident of Newark, Mrs. Levingston was employed with the Cress Box Company and had been a homemaker.She is survived by two sons, Larry A. (Mary Jane) Levingston of Newark and Lynn A. Levingston of Heath; two grandchildren, Marc Levingston and Patricia (Ronnie) Richardson; a great-granddaughter, Lee Ann Richardson; and nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph V.
