Ruth Ann Larason

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Ruth Ann Larason, age 56, of Newark, will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, 179 Granville Street, Newark. Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral service on Thursday, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Ruth Ann was born in Newark, Ohio on August 23, 1960 to the late Herbert Allen; and Cora (Balwick) Thompson, who survives. She passed away on April 8, 2017 at OSU Medical Center. Ruth Ann worked at Speedway for three years, and previously worked at Goosepond Retirement Village for 15 years. She enjoyed cross stitching and was a proud foster parent. Ruth Ann loved everyone she met and would help anyone in need. In addition to her mother, survivors include her children, Terry (Cayla) Baker, Chasity Glaub and Jason Kendall; grandchildren, Secora, Mackenzie, Autumn, Seth and Luke; sister, Sharon (Paul) Johnson; brother, Skip (Kimberly) Allen; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
