Ruth Helser

Ruth Evelyn (Boring) Helser, age 95, born October 27, 1917 in rural Licking County. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 6, 2013, with her son at her side. Parents Leonard E. and Mary Lenora (Kreager) Boring.Married Homer D Helser on August 31 1935.Survived by one son Jerry Lee Helser of Harbor Hills, 2 Grandchildren William Douglas (LouAnn) Helser, Dianna Lynn (Jeff) Powers, 4 Great-Grandchildren Nicholas and Holley Helser, Madaline and Andrew Penny. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, her Brother Mearl L. Boring and Daughter-in-law Louise Ann Helser.Ruth was a long-time resident of the Jacksontown area, where at one time she was active in the Jacksontown U.M. Church, Jacksontown Community Club, and served as a 4-H Leader. She moved to Sebring Florida in October of 1972, where she loved organizing travel adventures for the residents of her community. She returned to Ohio in 2011 to be near her son.The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 9, 2013, from 2-4 p.m. in the chapel of The HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service in Kirkersville, where funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 10, 2013.
