Ruth Hunsinger

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Ruth M. Hunsinger, 82, of Hebron, formerly of Westerville, will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2014, in the chapel of The Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service, 285 E Main St., with Pastor Brian Harkness as celebrant. Ruth will be buried in a private family service on Friday morning at Kingwood Memorial Park in Lewis Center.Ruth died peacefully on Tuesday morning, September 9, 2014, in Newark, following an extended illness. She was born in West Virginia on June 16, 1932, the daughter of the late William Clifford and Mary Catherine (Baker) Rardon. A life-long homemaker, Ruth loved to bird watch and read books.She is survived by her loving family: her daughter Elizabeth (Gary) Wells of Hebron, Son Hank Hunsinger, brother Chuck Rardon, grandchildren Joshua (Amy) Wells, Emily (Adam) Gahm, Katy Wells, and Daniel (Shallom) Wells; along with Paula Wells and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles William Hunsinger, on June 3, 1994; and a brother Frank and sister Mary L Folett.The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 11, 2014, from 5 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 285 E Main St. in Kirkersville.
