Ruth Isabelle Juergens

Ruth Isabelle Juergens, age 81, of Hartford, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Arlington Care Center in Newark. She was born July 12, 1934 in New Castle, Pennsylvania to the late Paul and Mary (Zabukovac) Tasoto.Ruth was a graduate of Bessemer High School in Pennsylvania. She was employed with the Joseph Badger High School in various capacities within the school system. Her family meant everything to her and she enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed polka music, playing the accordion, dancing and cooking.She is survived by her husband of 53 years, John J. Juergens, whom she married April 27, 1963; four children, Carl (Nancy) Juergens of Burghill, Suzanne (Rick) Thabet of Boca Raton, Florida, Patricia Juergens of Newark and Julie (Jason) Robinson of Delray Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Sydney, Alek and Karsyn Thabet; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.A memorial service will be held at a later date.Memorial contributions in Ruths name may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 4453 Warren Sharon Road, Vienna, OH 44473.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, Newark, is honored to care for Ruth and her family.
