Sandra S. Amos, age 59, of St. Louisville passed away at Licking Memorial Hospital on April 12, 2014. She was born in Columbus on December 18, 1954 to the late Jean (Brandon) Zimmerman and Donald Cartt of Columbus. Sandra was a devoted homemaker, loved everyone she met and lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed making crafts, planting trees and flowers, flower gardening, shopping and enjoyed going to casinos and gambling. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, George Amos, whom she married January 15, 1972; four daughters, Bessina (Christopher) Teague, Amanda (Tyson) Sayers, Jeanna (Corey Susil) Amos and Beth Amos; seven grandchildren, Ashton, Khali, Aaron, Jaiden, Maria, Marcus and Gabriel; two brothers, Ken (Debbie) Cartt and Robbie (Katha) Rogers; her two loving dogs, Dallas and Bell; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death one grandson, Tristan; brothers, Mike Cartt and John Cartt; and grandmother, Elizabeth Ruby Brandon. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Sandra to the Stephanie Spielman Breast Cancer Research Fund, c/o Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital, 300 W. 10th Street, Columbus, Ohio 43210. Sandra was a generous and giving person in life and she continued her dedication to giving by donating her body to The Ohio State University Department of Anatomy for research in hopes of helping others.
