A funeral service celebrating the life of Sarah L. Stought, 83, of Baltimore, will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 65 E. Columbus Street, Thornville 43076, with Pastor Tom Jacobson officiating. Burial will follow in Millersport Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Thornville chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 S. Main Street, Thornville; and also on Saturday, one hour prior to the funeral service at church, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Sarah was born on February 26, 1939 in Painesville, Ohio to the late John Wallace and Helen (Hawkins) Green. She passed away at her residence on September 12, 2022. Prior to retirement, she was a librarian with Millersport Elementary School for 25 years. She was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church, where she belonged to the Grace Lutheran Women’s Circle. She enjoyed gardening, painting, crossword puzzles and was an avid Cleveland sports fan. Most importantly, was the time she spent with her family. She loved everyone, never had a negative thing to say, and will be missed by everyone that knew her. Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, Keith C. Stought, whom she married on January 5, 1959; children, Jeffrey (Julie) Stought, Tracey (Lex) Tisdale and Johanna L. (Russ) Carter; sister, Shirley Green; grandchildren, Nate (Tabatha), Ashton (Wes), Paige, Kirk (Krystal), Ryan, Brittany, Zachary (Elizabeth), Sydney, Samantha (Jeremy), Kelsey and Drew; great grandchildren, Elli, Wyatt, Wrett, Luke, Lucy, Jacob, Ari and Asher; and many friends.
