Scott A. Davies

Scott A. Davies, age 58, a long-time resident at Mount Aloysius in New Lexington, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025. He was born November 28, 1966 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Hugh Francis Davies and the late Dorothy Ann (Peoples) Mackan.

Scott was employed with Pizza Hut and PERCO over the years. He loved watching the OSU Buckeyes and the Denver Broncos. He also enjoyed competing in the Special Olympics, shooting pool, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Lis Davies; nieces, Steph Davies of Philadelphia and Anna Davies of Aspen; sister, Shauna (Walter) Wendt of Seattle; nephew Ben Wendt; step-father, Roger Mackan of Ostrander; step-mother, Janet Davies of Columbus; step-brothers, Michael Holton of Columbus, Matt (Jen) Mackan and Wes Mackan, all of Delaware; and step-sister, Penny (John) Tarini of Columbus.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and Kevin Davies.

A celebration of Scott’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, at Mount Aloysius, 5375 Tile Plant Road in New Lexington.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mount Aloysius.
