Scott Menegay

A visitation, to celebrate the life of Scott Leo Menegay, 59, of Millersport, will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Monday, February 16th, in the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service. Scott passed away peacefully on Friday, February 13, 2015, with his wife at his side. He was born March 23, 1955 in Alliance, Ohio, the son of the late Merle L and Katherine (Schwall) Menegay. He attended the University of Akron and was a graduate of Zane State College in Zanesville. He retired after 29 years of employment with the Xerox Corporation. Scott was an active outdoorsman, and enjoyed boating on Buckeye Lake, jet skiing, snow and water skiing, bicycling, fast cars and travelling. He also enjoyed going on cruises. He is survived by his loving family: wife Paula, whom he married on June 12, 1982; brothers Richard (Augustina), Daniel (Sue) Menegay, sisters-in-law Sue (Curt) Hunter, Nancy Ditter, nieces and nephews Michelle, Bil, Curtis, Allen, Angela, Dean, Joel, Jeff, David and Kinsey; several great-nieces and nephews, and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law Ralph Ditter, brother-in-law Neil Ditter, and his two brothers Ron and Michael Menegay. The family prefers that memorials be directed to the Licking County Humane Society, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
