Shane Huck

A funeral mass, celebrating the life of Shane R. Huck, 37, of Pataskala, will be held Friday, June 14, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. in the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Buckeye Lake, with the Rev. Father Michael Reis as celebrant. Private Family inurnment will follow at a later date in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Pataskala.Shane died suddenly, Saturday, June 8, 2013, at his home in Pataskala. He was born October 17, 1975, in Columbus, to Richard A. and Alice E. (Brownrigg) Huck of Pataskala.He was a 1994 graduate of Watkins Memorial H.S., and a 1999 graduate of Bowling Green State University. He was a teacher and football coach at Granville for 13 years. He attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St Edwards Roman Catholic Church, and was a member of the Buckeye Lake Eagles.In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son Christopher Hockstok of Columbus, sisters Sonya (Bret) Jones of Tampa, Fl., Jennifer Huck of Pataskala, niece Mackenzie Jones, many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends including Mike Hensley, Ryan Bernath, Scott Carpenter, Marvin Bright and Jeff & Jake Earnhart.His family will receive friends on Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at the Kirkersville home of The HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service, 285 E Main St in Kirkersville, where on-line video tribute and guest registers are available at www.hoskinsonfuneral.comThe family prefers that memorials be directed to the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, PO Box 45, Buckeye Lake, Ohio 43008.
