Sharon Jean Pierce

Funeral services, celebrating the life of Sharon Jean Pierce, 78, of Hebron, will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Hebron home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 108 N 7 th Street, Hebron, with burial to follow in the Newark Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, February 23, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Sharon passed away February 16, 2022, in Lancaster, following an extended illness. She was born in Elyria on December 27, 1943, the daughter of the late William and Lois (Duckworth) Haake.

She was a long-time employee of both Hill’s department store and United Dairy Farmers in Pataskala.  She was a former member of the Buckeye Lake Eagles lodge.

Sharon is survived by her loving family: her sons Ronald (Robin) Pierce and Bill Pierce; her grandchildren Donavan Cull, Ronald Pierce Jr., Megan Slone, Heather Penwell, Chyenne Plewes-Pierce, Kylie Pierce and Austin Pierce.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rodney Pierce in 1998 and her one sister.
