Shawn Lawrence McGuire

Shawn Lawrence McGuire, age 44, of Newark, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born July 9, 1980 in Newark, Ohio to the late Lawrence Bennett McGuire and the late Patricia (Johnson) McGuire Kincaid.

Shawn was a tattoo artist and enjoyed airbrushing and painting. He also found joy and freedom in working on and riding four-wheelers and go-carts. He loved hanging out with his friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nicole Janine (Wilkin) McGuire; four step-children, Dylan Linger, Ashton Linger, Cheyenne Linger, and Jacob Etler; two granddaughters, Raylenne Linger and Oaklynne Linger; brother, James (Jennifer) McGuire of Baltimore; sister, Dawn Rose of Groveport; and a niece, Alyssa McGuire.

Inurnment will be held at a later date at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
