Sheila Diane Mitchell

Sheila Diane (Vest) Mitchell, 65, of Pataskala, passed away late Saturday evening, January 22, 2022 at her home in Pataskala. She was born in Irongate, Virginia, on August 30, 1956. She graduated from Columbus South High School, class of 1974. She worked for several years at the Post Office until she was disabled.

Preceded in death by parents Mary and Bob Brumlow and Fred Vest.

Sheila is survived by her daughters Michelle (Ivan) Smith, Ilene O’Neall and Laurie Mitchell. Wonderful “Grammy” to Ivan (Iraida), Courtney, Alyssa, Ian, Joseph, Jacob, Josh, Jason and Evan; great grammy to Ivan III; along with her siblings, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She loved being a mother and grandmother and spending time with her family.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, where funeral services honoring her life will follow at 3:00 p.m. Honoring Sheila’s wishes she will be cremated after services.
