Sheila Ann Morgan

A funeral service celebrating the life of Sheila Ann Morgan, age 74, of Newark, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 18, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home. Friends may call from 11 a.m.- 1p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark.

Sheila was born April 26, 1947 in Newark, Ohio to the late Shirley Dale LeMay and the late Mary Elizabeth (Williams) LeMay. She passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center operated by Hospice of Central Ohio.

Sheila was a 1964 graduate of Nelsonville York High School. She was employed with Licking Memorial Hospital for 18 years as a nurses aide. Sheila enjoyed watching TV, especially Westerns, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Victoria Hottinger of Newark; son, Terry Dale Hottinger of Newark; grandchildren, Soultana (Josh) Biehl, Joseph (Amanda) Northrup, Levi Felumlee, McKenzie Lewis, and Brock Lewis; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara (Butch) Wilcox and Donna Efaw; brother, Rick LeMay; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry L. Morgan, on November 26, 2015; a son, Jerry James Hottinger II; brothers, Jack LeMay and Gary LeMay; and sisters, Katherine Taylor, Connie Litton, and Debbie Walker.
