Sheila Nan Davis

Sheila Nan Davis, age 62, of Newark, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2015 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.Sheila was born May 5, 1953 in Newark, Ohio to the late Orville and Billie Jean (Moore) Bodkin. She retired in 2014 from DFAS in Columbus where she worked in Accounting. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and enjoyed spending time with friends and singing Karaoke at the 840 Bar in Whitehall. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved animals and at one time had been a volunteer with the Licking County Humane Society.She is survived by two sons, Nick (Christine) Davis of Newark and Chris (Mandie) Davis of Johnstown; grandchildren, Rebecca, Daniel, Jacob, Aaron, Kathryn, Justin, Mylena, Selena and Ahlena; sister, Kelley (Tim) Thompson of Newark; nephews, Josh and Patrick Thompson; and many friends.At her request, there will be no calling hours or service observed.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Licking County Humane Society, 825 Thornwood Drive SW, Heath, OH 43056.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for the Davis family.
