Sheila White

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Sheila T. White, 42, of Pataskala, will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. in the Vineyard Community Church, 9286 York Rd. S.W., Pataskala, 43062, with Pastor Brian Burd as celebrant. Burial will follow at Pataskala Cemetery. Sheila died peacefully early Monday morning, February 23, 2015, at her home with her family at her side. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on December 22, 2014. Born June 17, 1972, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Sheila was the daughter of Eric Ealse (predeceased 2002) and Machteld May (Visser) Dykstra of Edmonton. She had worked as an accountant for the Canadian government prior to her moving to America. She was dedicated to following Jesus and living in the truth. Sheila enjoyed adventures (big and small!), being with friends and family and loved spending time at the beach. Since starting her family with Jim her focus has been on raising her children, jokingly, she was referred to as the CEO of the White House. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her. She is survived by her loving family: which, in addition to her mother, includes her husband Jim, whom she married on June 23, 2006, sons Joseph James JJ and Caleb Samuel, step-daughter Amber Nicole, mother-in-law Sharon White, father-in-law Barry White, brothers Gordon (Val) Dykstra, Brian Dykstra, Grant (Charlene) Dykstra, sister Joanne (Trent) Diletzoy, brothers-in-law Dan (Anna) and Doug (Melanie) White, along with many nieces and nephews, and her church family at Vineyard Community Church. Her family will receive friends on Friday, February 27, 2015, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Church. An on-line guest register and video tribute are available at www.hoskinsonfuneral.com.
