A funeral service celebrating the life of Shelby Alisa Louann Miller, age 19, of Millersport, will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 3, at the Lighthouse Memorial Church in Hebron with Pastor Bill Beard officiating. Burial will follow in Millersport Cemetery. Friends may call from 1-3 & 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, at the church, 2600 Walnut Road in Millersport.Shelby was born October 28, 1997 in Lancaster, Ohio. She passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Mount Carmel East Hospital following a brief illness.Shelby was a 2015 graduate of Millersport High School and received a certificate in medical assisting from Fortis College in Westerville. She was employed with Palm Beach Tan on Stelzer Road in Columbus. Shelby had a bubbly personality and always had a smile on her face and liked to make people laugh. She enjoyed tanning, shopping and good food. Her family meant everything to her and she was a wonderful daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. She was a member of the Millersport Fire Department family.Shelby is survived by her parents, Kenneth and Michelle (Freeman) Miller of Thornville; fianc, Brandon Long of Millersport; brothers, Kyle Miller (Macey Abrams) of Newark and Kody Miller (Rachel Miller) of Thornville; maternal grandmother, Linda L. Freeman of Lancaster; paternal grandmother, Peggy A. Gilliland of Lancaster; paternal grandfather and step-grandmother, Larry E. (Inez) Miller, Sr. of Pleasantville; nieces and nephews, Camdyn, Alba, Skilynn and Aurora; Brandons niece and nephews, Kobe, Xavion, Aevin and Zenley; aunts, uncles, cousins and many family and friends.She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Gene E.
