Shelby Jean Chmielewski

A funeral service celebrating the life of Shelby Jean Chmielewski, age 71, of Millersport, will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Thornville home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service with Pastor Jeremy Shank officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home, 56 S. Main Street, two hours prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Vinton Memorial Park in Vinton County, Ohio.Shelby was born in Welch, WV on December 18, 1945 to the late John and Betty (Jones) Gullett. She passed away on December 10, 2016.Prior to retirement, Shelby worked for Interstate Permit Service, Inc., where she served as president. She was an animal lover, enjoyed flowers and crafting.Survivors include her significant other, Thomas Davies; sister, Ruth Ann (Richard) DeSando; nephew, Richard Nicholas DeSando; and numerous friends.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Chmielewski.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Shelby to SPCA, Global Animal Rescue, PO Box 8682, NYC, NY 10001.Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Shelby and her family.
