Sherry Kay Steenis

Sherry Kay Steenis, age 66, of Newark, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at her home under the care of Hospice of Central Ohio. Sherry was born September 29, 1953 in Mary Ann Township, Ohio to the late Orlo E. and Nora E. “Dolly” (Rine) Stradley.

Sherry was a 1972 graduate of Lakewood High School. She retired from Festival Foods in Heath where she had been a front end manager. Sherry enjoyed taking trips with her friends and spending time with her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Christina M. Steenis of Newark; sons, Charles Randy Steenis and Matthew Shane Steenis, both of Newark; grandson, Justin Thaddeus Wolfe; sister, Judy Hollis of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, David Stradley and Everett Stradley.

At her request, there will be no service observed.
