Shirley Ann Roach, age 78, of Brownsville, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio). She was born July 25, 1938 in Fallsburg, Ohio to the late Clarence and Della (Cayton) Hartrum.Shirley retired from the Buckeye Lake Truckstop and was a homemaker. She loved to crochet and to quilt.She is survived by six children, Traci (Robert) Large of Brownsville, Tami Graham of Canal Winchester, Cathy Rome-Baker of Gahanna, Gary Rome of Columbus, John (Cheryl) Rome of Columbus and Ed (Jamie) Rome of Indiana; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue (Jim) Bachus of Buckeye Lake and Judy (Augie) Angeletti of Mount Vernon; brother, Jim Hartrum of Utica; and many nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in deathher husband, Luther Isaac Roach, on March 25, 2011; and by a brother, Bob Hartrum.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service in Hebron is honored to care for Shirley and her family.
