Shirley Ann Dennison

Shirley Ann Dennison, age 82, of Summit Station, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at The Inn at Chapel Grove in Heath. Shirley was born December 5, 1938 in Shelbiana, Kentucky to the late Emett and Lizzie Beth (Coleman) Powell.

Shirley was employed with White Castle for 41 and retired as supervisor. She enjoyed flower gardening, yard work, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Michael) Carr of Buckeye Lake; grandchildren, Michael Carr (Courtney Filkins), William Carr and Courtney (Randy) Perry; great-grandchildren, Dillon, Allie, Amber, Paylynn, Praxton and Hudson; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Dennison, whom she married April 25, 1970, and who passed away on April 21, 2020.

Private family services will be held at the Kirkersville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service with burial to follow in Kirkersville Cemetery.
