Shirley M. Fair Fox

A memorial service celebrating the life of Shirley M. Fair Fox, age 77, of Newark, will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Gus Andrews officiating.Friends may call at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, one hour prior to the memorial service on Wednesday, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Shirley was born in Mishawaka, Indiana on February 6, 1940 to the late Joseph and Ada Lowe. She passed away at OSU, Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus, due to surgical complications. Prior to retirement, Shirley worked at Kroger and Arrow Trucking. She enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking, but most important in her life was spending time with family and friends. Survivors include her children, Hope Fox, Serina (Lee) Ray, Bill Fox and Clayt (Kim) Fair; five grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and her loving furry companion, Mitzy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and one grandson. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Shirley to the Licking County Humane Society.
