Shirley Mae Tisdale

Shirley Mae Tisdale, 74 of Heath passed away on August 23, 2023 at the OSU James Hospital in Columbus. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 29, 1949 to the late Dale and Norma (Crego) Peters. After retirement, Shirley was a restoration specialist, restoring antiques and collectibles. She enjoyed automatons, restoring antique porcelain dolls, yarn spinning and restoring and making teddy “Tizzy” bears. Most important was the time she spent with her loving family and friends. Survivors include her sons, Shawn (Julie) Tisdale and Charles Oliver Tisdale, Jr.; grandchildren, Chase, Spencer and Tyler; sisters, Vicki and Terri (Tom); niece, Sheena; uncle, Merle Peters; dog, Molly; her bare-eyes cockatoo, Bekie; and many other family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Charlie Tisdale. Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Shirley and her family.
