A funeral service celebrating the life of Shon A. Harrah, 56, of East Fultonham, will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hebron chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, with Clifford Mason officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home 108 N. Seventh Street, Hebron, two hours prior to the funeral service on Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Shon was born in Athens, Ohio on February 9, 1967 to the late Harold Harrah and Linda L. (Doughty) Harrah, who survives. He passed away at his residence on January 9, 2024. Shon was a motorcycle enthusiast, enjoyed mushroom hunting, collecting, was an animal lover, especially dogs and owls, but most important was the time he spent with his loving family, children and grandchildren. Survivors include his mother, Linda Harrah; children, Shon M. Harrah, Shandyle D. Harrah and Rachel M. Harrah; brother, Randy Harrah; grandchildren, Marley Harrah, Delilah Stapleton, Da’Marques Parker and Ra’Niyah Newman; mother of his children, Tammy Calendine; special teacher, Betty King; and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Shon to the Licking County Humane Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
