Sidney "Sid" Eugene Brown

Sidney Eugene “Sid” Brown, 73, of Glenford, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023, at his home. He was born September 20, 1949, in Zanesville to the late Everett Eugene and Doris Viola (Smith) Brown. Sid had numerous careers ranging from small town law enforcement, truck driver, business owner, and retired in factory work from Kaiser Aluminum. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Vicki; four children, Mike (Amy) Brown, Heather (Dusty) Jarrett, Bryan Winegardner, and Kristy (Jeremy) Shaner; grandchildren, Nate (Abbie) Brown, Lance (Hannah) Brown, Tanner Jarrett, Dylan, Carter, and Jovi Winegardner, and Morgan, Kennedy, Layton, and Joslyn Shaner; great grandchildren, Cade and Ellie Brown; sisters, Melody Swan, Marsha (Dave) Humphrey, and Melissa (Ron) Rusler; and brother, Jeff (Bonnie) Brown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Carla Brown; and brothers-in-law, Mike Swan and Kevin Rusler. Memorial contributions may be made in Sid’s memory to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Road, Newark, Ohio, 43055. A memorial visitation will be held Friday, January 27, 2023, from 5-7pm at the Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home.
