SIDNEY JAMES WYETH Sid Wyeth, age 58 of Millersport, passed way December 24, 2014, at OSU Medical Center, Columbus, due to Flu complications. Sid was born on August 28, 1956 to Natalie Soldo and Richard Wyeth in Newark. He graduated from Lakewood High School in Hebron and attended DeVry University in Columbus. He was baptized at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Buckeye Lake, where he spent his youth. He was a Master Auto Technician employed by AAA Care Car Plus in New Albany. Sid was so skillful, he often diagnosed car problems by phone. His expertise wasnt confined to cars, however, for he could fix anything. Having lived in the Buckeye Lake area nearly all of his life; he was most at home boating on its waters. Although he was born in 1956, his life began when his daughter, Allison Ashley Wyeth, was born in 2000. Sid is survived by Allison, whom he adored beyond measure; by his loving siblings Tina (Art) Baker, Jeff (Teresa), Marc and Kitty Wyeth; Allisons mom, Lora Wyeth; and by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, half siblings and good friends. He never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Bob Wyeth, and his sister, Laura West. Friends may call on Monday, December 29, 2014, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at The HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 E. Main St in Kirkersville, where vigil services will begin at 7:45 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m.on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Buckeye Lake, with burial to follow at Millersport Cemetery. The family prefers memorials to the Allison Wyeth College Fund, c/o any PNC Bank. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. On-line condolences may be left at www.hoskinsonfuneral.com.
