Stella Clay

Funeral services, celebrating the life of Melda Estelle "Stella" Clay, 96, of Hebron, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, December 28, 2024 in the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with her pastor Jerry Carpenter as celebrant. Burial will follow in Glen Rest Memorial Estates, Reynoldsburg. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the funeral service, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, 285 East Main Street in Kirkersville.

Stella passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024 in Pataskala. She was born December 3, 1928 in Monte Carlo, West Virginia, the daughter of the late William and Tressie (Cole) Lambert. She worked for many years at the Western Electric/ A.T.&T.. Stella was an active member of the Hebron Church of The Nazarene.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Clay on August 3, 2016, along with her sister Mary Juanita Gunter.

She is survived by her loving family: her son Robert (Cathy) Adkins of Ormond Beach, Florida, her son James B. Adkins; her granddaughter Bobbi Jo (Mark) Trewartha of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware; her niece Verna Oxley of Etna and her incredible supportive church family at Hebron Church of the Nazarene.

The family prefers that memorial contributions be directed to the Hebron Church of the Nazarene. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
