Stephanie Jane Bentley

Stephanie J. Bentley, 55, of Newark, passed away unexpectedly on August 29, 2018, following a brief illness. She was born in Dayton, on September 29, 1962, the daughter of the late Roy G. and Nettie D. (Potter) Bentley. Stephanie was a graduate of Heath H.S., class of 1980, and enjoyed her position greeting the public and handling administrative duties for the Indian Mound Mall in Heath. She was an avid OSU Buckeyes football fan. She is survived by her family: brother Roy Bentley, II and his wife Gloria of Pataskala, sister Suzanne Griffin and her husband Doug of Newark, along with 5 nieces, nephews, and 7 great-nieces and nephews. Honoring Stephanie’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services. Private Cremation arrangements have been completed. The family prefers that memorial contributions in her memory be directed to the Capital Campaign at The Ohio Eastern Star Home, 1451 Gambier Rd, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050.
