Stephanie Dawn Crawford

A memorial service celebrating the life of Stephanie Dawn Crawford, age 38, of Newark, will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark. Private inurnment will take place at Fairmount Cemetery. Stephanie was born December 24, 1978 in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. She passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 21, 2017 at Licking Memorial Hospital. Stephanie was a 1997 graduate of Newark High School and was employed for several years at Denison University in the cafeteria. She enjoyed music, shopping, going out to eat, watching movies and rollerskating. She loved all holidays, especially Christmas. She is survived by her mother, Vickie Lynn Meisenhelder (Eddie Stack) of Newark; father and step-mother, John and Nicole Crawford of Fairborn; step-father, Danny (Crystal) Meisenhelder of Newark; sister, Brooke Meisenhelder (Joey Conley) of Millersport; brothers, Zachary Vance and Logan Crawford, both of Fairborn; maternal grandfather, Dick (Kaye) Newman of Thornville; paternal grandmother, Grace King of Newark; two nephews; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by a sister, Natalie Crawford; by a baby brother; and her maternal grandmother, Alberta Newman.
