Stephen J. Arndt

Stephen J. Arndt, 77, of Thornville, passed away on March 7, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 6, 1946 to the late Edward and Frances (Patelis) Arndt. Stephen proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Prior to retirement, he was a salesman with Capital Elevator for over 22 years. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and was an avid pool player. Most importantly was the time he spent with his family and friends. Surviving is his loving wife of 29 years, Sharon L. (Gainer) Arndt, whom he married October 10, 1994; children, Kristy (Chet) Linley, Kathy (James) Clark and Kyle (Lisa) Arndt; seven grandchildren; and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Arndt. Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Stephen and the Arndt family.
