Stephen Wesley Harlan

Funeral services, celebrating the life of Stephen W. Harlan, 73, of Thornville will be held on Wednesday April 21, 2021 at 6 P.M. in the chapel of the Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with the Rev. Richard D Moats as celebrant. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 4-6 p.m. immediately prior to the services.

Stephen passed away on April 18, 2021 at his home following an extended illness. He was born in Lancaster, on May 25, 1947, the son of the late Joseph Ray and Betty Ellen (Tribble) Harlan. He was a graduate of Sheridan HS., class of 1966; and had worked for I.B.E.W. as an Electrician on construction projects for many years.

He enjoyed collecting things including gems and flint. He also enjoyed watching T.V. documentaries and following politics.

He is survived by his family: his wife Veronica (Higgins) whom he married on Sept. 30, 1989, his daughters Heather (Jeff) Phillips, Katrina (Chuck) Blanchard; his step-daughters Melody and Tiffani Louk; along with his 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Jeff.
